This post is updated as per the new survey of Best Schools in Pakistan!

The literacy rate of Pakistan is very low compared to other countries, a few years back the literacy rate was better compared to the literacy rate of now. According to the new survey literacy rate in Pakistan is declined from 60% to 58%. This may do not look huge difference but the literacy rate is declining day by day.

One of the reasons for this loss is that people nowadays do not believe in the Schooling System.

According to the DAWN News “Pakistan currently has the largest percentage of young people in its history” having the largest percentage of young people in the history we have lost the literacy rate of 2%.

This is just because people of Pakistan do not believe in Pakistan’s Schooling System. Due to the lack of capable teachers and lack of facilities available in schools, most of the government schools are not capable of providing quality education to your children; this case is also true for some private Schools.

3: CONVENT OF JESUS AND MARY:

CONVENT OF JESUS AND MARY commonly referred to as “Convent” is one of the best school In Lahore, this is only girls school. It was established on 17 November 1876. Today,  Convent have almost 8 schools in different areas of Pakistan.

4: Bloomfield Hall School:

Bloomfield Hall is also one of the major educational institutions in Pakistan. It was established in the year 1984 by educationists from the UK and Pakistan. It is also one of the oldest school in Pakistan which have maintained the quality education till yet.

It was started with the aim of providing British style education leading ultimately to British qualifications. Students of Bloomfield Hall are prepared for the ’O’ and ’A’ level examinations of the UK examining bodies. 5: LAHORE GRAMMAR SCHOOLS:

Lahore Grammar School or commonly referred to as LGS is one of the best private school systems in Lahore, Getting admission in LGS is one the tough part.

The best part about getting admission in LGS is the environment and education of LGS, also it is affiliated with the Cambridge Board of International Examinations for the O and A Level programs.

6: Crescent Model Higher Secondary School:

The Crescent Model Higher Secondary School is one of the oldest school of Pakistan which was established in the year of 1968. Crescent school was established at Qaddafi stadium Lahore at the time there were only 35 students enrolled under the supervision of Principal Ashfaq Ahmed Qureshi. Crescent Model School is in the heart of Lahore.

7: Karachi Grammar School:

Karachi Grammar School or KGS is one of the best school in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is one of the oldest school in Pakistan. it was established in 1847, it is the private school which provides quality education to your children it is a co-education based system.

9: The City School:

The City School or also known as TCS  was established in 1978 in Karachi. The City School is one of the biggest growing Private education company, they have more than 180 schools in different cities of Pakistan. The City School is very expensive the average tuition fees of about $240 a month. The Primary schools follow UK’s Education Curriculum whereas Secondary Schools follow Pakistani Curriculum and Cambridge curriculum.

10: BVS Parsi High School:

Bai Virbaijee Soparivala or most commonly referred to as (BVS) Parsi High School is situated in Karachi and it was established in 1859. It is also one of the best school in Karachi.

11: Habib Public School (Karachi):

Habib Public School is situated in Karachi, It was established on 7 July 1959. Every year HPS conduct Entry test thousand of Students apply for it and only a few deserving students get admission in the Habib Public School.

12: Foundation Public School:

Foundation Public School was established on October 14, 1981. It is situated in Karachi, They have total 10 campuses now 3 of them are in Hyderabad, Sindh and 7 of them are in Karachi, Sindh. The Student Studying in FPS are so creative. FPS have different activities which bring out the creativity of Students. FPS in one of the growing School System in Pakistan.

13: British Overseas School:

The British Overseas School is from one of the oldest school, it was founded in 1958 as a primary school for the children of migrant families. After the excellent reputation and growth of the number of branches of schools, British Overseas School (BOS) established a campus in Karachi.

It is the only school in Karachi which offers a British education system from Nursery to International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A-Level. Teachers of BOS School are well qualified from UK British Curriculum.

14: Dar-e-Arqam School:

Dar-e-Arqam School System is one of the best private schooling networks in Pakistan, it was established in the year 1991. The First Dar-e-Arqam was built in Sargodha nowadays  Dar-e-Arqam school is one of the largest growing school systems with more than 170,000 students and more than 660 branches all over Pakistan.

15: Pak-Turk International School:

Pak-Turk International school or PTIS is a private school which was established in 1995 with the collaboration of Pakistan and Turkey.

16: Cadet College, Hasan Abdal:

Cadet College, Hasan Abdal is situated in Hasan Abdal, Attock District, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1954. The Students studying in Cadet College, Hasan Abdal are called “cadets”.

The aim of this cadet college was to train students to become future officers in the Pakistani Military.

They are just ripping off innocent children and parents.. their only motive is to make money and that’s all..its a shame to include these culprits that have ruined our education and are playing with our children’s future.

    With due respect to all these schools, I feel we tend to miss out many small schools that are doing a great job. Schola Nova, Islamabad, is a small school with a big heart. It offers quality education, character building and equips students with practical skills. It offers Sign Language as part of its Curriculum in order to encourage equality and fair treatment to all.

    It is a good survey based research about best school system in pakistan….. but you dont provide enough research (facts and figures). Sources should be mentioned.. and sampling should consists on very large papulation…. few examples are not enough to show the sucess of any institution… %age is essential… by chance if any leader got education at any school.. it does’t mean that its result is fair every year….
